Caroline Pires Ting is a Sino-Brazilian-American scholar-artist, curator, and philosopher working at the intersection of visual culture, language, and artificial intelligence.

She holds a PhD in Arts and Contemporary Culture and a postdoctoral fellowship in Philosophy, and is a member of the international project The Dictionary of Untranslatables.

She also serves as Director of International Relations at the Logica Universalis Association (LUA) in Switzerland and at Museu.XYZ, Brazil’s first metaverse museum.

Intercultural dialogue

A graduate of the Sorbonne, she has conducted research at the International Institute of Macau, the Royal Portuguese Library, and the Center for Chinese Studies at the National Central Library in Taipei, and has served as a visiting professor in Taiwan. Formerly a copyist at the Louvre and the Petit Palais, she trained at the Russian Imperial Academy of Arts and the National Academy of Design. She received First Place in the A-Ma Prize for Literature from the Macau Foundation and was awarded the title of Cultural Ambassador by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China.
